I would personally like to take this time to thank all the merchants and hunters who made the FCKH8/Born This Way hunt an awesome success. it was both an honor and pleasure to put the hunt together. the feedback that i have recieved about the hunt, gifts etc. were all highly posative. some people loved the whole theme and more importantly the message that the hunt tried to get across. the message being no matter who you are you were Born This Way so FCKH8 & FCK The H8ers. i couldnt have done the hunt without the Merchants or my wonderful hubby Marcon. i also would like to thank Shadowed Luik at SL Freebie Hunters for blooging the hunt, and to the others who blooged the hunt i thank you. in closing it was a huge honor to have worked with so many great merchants and meeting some great hunters.

Between July & September 2010 Six Teens who were either GLBTQ or thought to be GLBTQ were Bullied, Taunted, Teased & even Physically abused. and when they thought it was too hard for them to handle they tragicly ended their lives. they ranged in ages 13-19. all of whos deaths could have been avoided.

As many who have done my hunts before know i do hunts that deal with RL issues, I've done anti-hate against the GLBT(Gay Lesbian Bisexual Transgender), Equality for ALL, And even Stamp Out AIDS, And the recent events like Prop8(same-sex marriage ban), The RACIAL targeting in Arizona(Illegal Alien crap) and various other reasons is why i've deided to do a hunt centered around the NOH8(NO HATE) Campeign. Because i believe hate should be something, NO is something this world could do without.

The hunt schedule is: June 27 - July 27, 2010.

There have been tons of hunts in SL, Hunts for Vampires, Nekos, Guys, Mothers/Daughters, Macabre the list goes on.

But this December 1-31, 2009 will see a more serious hunt, i'm NOT saying the RFL and past GLBT hunts weren't serious, This hunt tackles a very serious matter, One that effects us ALL. It DOESN'T matter if your GLBT, Straight, Curious, Male, Female, Black, White, Asian, American, Europian Etc. HIV/AIDS EFFECTS US ALL.

MILLIONS of people have either died or will most likely die from the terrible disease, THOUSANDS of people DAILY are diagnosed with HIV/AIDS.

This is a GLBT Friendly hunt. To enforce the belief that "equality is a human right". This hunt like the previous hunt is designed to give the GLBT and GLBT Friendly shops recognition. It will run from August 23rd to September 23th and ideally be comprised of 100 plus vendors and their shops. As Usual youwill be provided with and attractive, low 1 prim sign. Emblazened with the GLBT colors and a hunt icon(this time around will be blue with a yellow equality sign). Please Place the sign infront of your shop for easy reognition.

the first know GLBT hunt is over and the next is in the works...tenitive date is mid aug to mid sept. all info should be done b mid july and posted here so i can get the vendors lined up and the hunt in motion.

i worked with some of the best vendors on the "hate is not a family value" hunt that i hope the next hunt i can work with them again. the were the most helpful vendors any organizer could ask for.

what started as a simple idea has now begun, the first known all GLBT hunt in SL has officially started. like all hunts it goes full circle. so it DOESNT matter where you start. for the next 7 days people will see some amazing shops, awesome shop owners, and maybe meet some new friends. all 3 hunt organizers will be on the hunt and also most likely shopping, this will also lead to future hunts.

i must say i couldn't have asked for a better bunch of people than the vendors on this hunt.. they have all been awesome to work with on this hunt, and hopefully i get to work with them again..

First Walk Trough Complete

the first walk through was completed and went with little or no problems problems, most of the vendors are on the ball and from the looks of it this hunt will be successful.. no problems finding the shops, little to no lag, beautiful shops and some awesome merhandise in the various shops..the diversity of shops on this hunt is very awesome the prizes i have seen so far have been very well done and very beautifully Crafted. Some shops still need to put their signs out though.

i couldnt ask for a better bunch of vendors, i truely am blessed to have them on this hunt. i myself cant wait to do this hunt with my hubby and co-organizer Marcon, and our other co-organizer Romanza will also be hunting with his fiance Kelly.

the first known all GLBT-GLBT friendly hunt

it all starts in less than a week, some very great vendors have entered their shops in the first of hopefully many hunts to come..

it all started as an idea that some organizers of others hunts said i was nuts and some saying go for it... well i AM nutz and decided to go for it... i only expected to get 20-25 vendors 30 tops and wound up with 85 of the most amazing shops whos vendors are amazing as well... for those that DONT know what GLBT stands for it means Gay Lesbian Bisexual Transgendered.. some also spell it LGBT... but it also has the same meaning, i like others of the GLBT community am excited about an all GLBT-GLBT friendly Hunt where we want to show people that it is ours as well as others belief that Hate is NOT a family value. the hunt will run from june 23rd to june 30th... and will like other hunt do a complete circle so it doesnt matter where you start that will also be the shop you end at.

i hope that everyone has a great time hunting and also enjoy themselves..
